About the listings & how to submit an event

Looking for something to do tonight near Mount Shasta, a performance in Weed, or a gathering in McCloud? Start with the dated listings below, then use the official community and venue calendars for last-minute additions. Event dates are presented in local Pacific time. This collection was checked on November 1, 2026; it is an editorial selection with source links, not an automatically synchronized feed. No event for the evening of November 1 was confirmed in the sources reviewed, so the page does not fill tonight's list with guessed recurring events.

For tonight, confirm the date and venue first

Open the organizer's listing and check the full date, including the year, before making plans. A past festival page can remain online long after the event, and a calendar may initially open to a previous month. Confirm doors, performance time, admission, reservations, age limits and cancellation notices directly with the venue. A restaurant hosting an event may have different kitchen hours from the event itself.

Look in all three communities

The Mount Shasta Chamber publishes regional community listings as well as town events. The Weed Chamber covers its own community celebrations, and College of the Siskiyous is another source for public arts and campus notices. McCloud's chamber and Dance Hall provide festival and venue calendars. Use the actual event address to choose dinner and allow travel time between towns, especially after a long trail day.

A few upcoming plans to start with

The checked listings include an early-November open mic in Mount Shasta, the Fall Fungus Fair in McCloud, storytelling at Sisson Museum and Mount Shasta's Winter Magic celebration. Weed also has a college-announced holiday shop event and a December craft fair. Each card keeps its original source so you can check the latest program and any schedule changes before attending.

Help keep the calendar useful

Organizers can send a public event link, exact local date and time, venue, town and contact information to Info@VisitShasta.org. Include an official organizer or venue page so the details can be checked. Sending a listing does not guarantee publication; changes are reviewed before appearing here. Sponsorship inquiries use the same email, and any future paid placement should be labeled separately from editorial event selection.
